The author of romance novel ‘Return To Malta’ visited the Bedwas Library recently for a book signing event. Malcolm Lloyd Dubber spent the morning meeting his fans and signing their copies of the book.

The story picks up during a period of war in Malta. Hazel is a nurse who is caring for injured soldiers. During her service she meets naval officer named Ewan Jones. They are both attracted to each other from the first moment and develop a strong bond.

He works for the intelligence and the nurse becomes his contact in the outside world when he infiltrates the enemy camp to get hint of their plans for the future.

Their relationship is not an easy one. They both suffer during their time in the warzone and are apart for a long time. But they are eventually reunited and make their return to Malta but the war continues around them still.

This romantic tale is full of trials and tribulations and shows that love can conquer all.

Malcolm works as a consultant in emergency planning and other specialized fields. He loves writing and he brings his life experiences to paper.

He is an active member of the Emergency Planning Society in Welsh branch and has lectured in various conferences on the topic.
