Lynda Ann Green Brought Mr. Nolly to Causeway Green Primary School
Pupils at Causeway Green Primary School enjoyed the reading of ‘Mr. Nolly and the Magic Ladder’ as the author of the book visited their school and read from the book herself.
Lynda Ann Green did a morning session at the school and delighted the children with the magical story.
The funny and dramatic story of Mr. Nolly begins when he happens upon a ladder. He believes it to be an ordinary ladder but it starts talking to him. He is surprised at first but soon befriends the ladder. There is another surprise in store for him, the ladder also makes his pet cat Sam talk.
The ladder is named Ecky and it once belonged to a terrible witch. It was used to catch moonbeams before it was accidently thrown away.
When the witch learns that the ladder is missing, she wants it back. It is up to the ladder’s new friends to make sure that the witch doesn’t get what she wants. The trio bands together and goes on an adventure to save the ladder and keep it away from the clutches of the witch.
