Luke Borsvold’s Dead Company gets featured on North Star News
Borsvold, accomplished what a lot of writers aim to do: write a successful book. Dead Company, the first in his fantasy/historical fiction series, captures the essence of humanity in the brutal Hundred Years’ War, but through animals rather than humans. One of the local newspapers did a feature story of Dead Company that made the front page of the North Star News.
Luke Borsvold, both a dreamer and a doer, married his best friend five years ago, and has been going on adventures ever since. He loves to travel, and while attending university in Glasgow, Scotland for a year had a unique opportunity to travel extensively in the UK, Scandinavia, and Japan. He loves the UK, its castles and pubs, and Norway's rugged fjords and mountains as well. He calls himself a Viking reenactor, enjoys axe and shield combat, kayaking, fishing, hiking, and camping, and Scottish shortbread with black coffee or Tetley tea.
The books talks about the battles with the enemy knights flying the Red Banner that look like a wall of living, riding steel. But there are heroes, Chaps and lasses willing to risk life and limb for king and coin? Need fortresses taken, and enemy territory raided? Then send Dead Company!
