Linzi Bowden Gets Featured by Daily Record in a News Article
Daily Record shared an article about Linzi Bowden’s children's storybook Mummy’s Tummy on 13th June 2022. The article reveals how the birth of her second child, her son Rafe, inspired Linzi to come up with the storyline of this book a decade ago.
Mummy’s Tummy is a children's storybook that innocently narrates how new babies come into this world. It is written from the perspective of an elder sister expecting a baby brother’s birth. The author has two offspring, Olivia and Rafe. Whilst she was impregnated with Rafe in her belly, her daughter Olivia consistently asked loads of questions regarding the bulging belly. To make it easier for other women in similar situations, our author came up with a simple, creative solution, a storybook to quench the curiosity of elder siblings. It answers most of the questions that kids ask their parents when they are expecting the arrival of a new family member. It is equipped with colourful and engaging illustrations all over to retain the attention of kids.
Linzi Bowden has been a teacher and is now a principal at the primary school in a village in Lanarkshire. She always aspired to be a teacher and shares glorious memories with her students.
