Linda’s Book Bag features review about Yannis Kyrlis’ ‘The Quest- A Collection of Short Stories’
The author went to the Linda’s Book Bag to answer questions about writing this book and what was the inspiration behind it. He also talked about why he chose to write about the world of subconsciousness and intrigue.
The book is about living in the world of dreams and following one’s trail in the imaginations. He presents a mysterious and dream- tingled collection of stories which focuses on the abstract and our presence in another world. It is when a man loses his heart and is found by an illustrator who tries to exchange it.
A couple finds the call of a strange object in a dump, but there desire for the object questions their love for each other and the impact of this unknown object in their lives.
Young Greek boy looks for the answers to his very existence in the dream, can he find the clues to his seeking? We don’t know for sure the answers to all these questions as each story of the book contradicts with the other one but you will sure have this satisfied feeling after finishing each story.
The author Yannis Kyrlis was born in Xanthi which is on the Northern side of Greece. He had been also working there in the private sector.
Yannis has been a resident of Athens for many years and he has been associated with writing Literature for a long time.
