Lee Willmore has donated a copy of his book ‘A British War Dance’.
The Story of the book is about a British Soldier ‘James Ashfield’ who belongs from Birmingham and has been sent to Germany to fight alongside his brother in the World War 2.
The events that took place there has shredded his reminiscences and he came back with a warn-torn personality. He returned with the haunting memories of the War which he cannot remove from his mind.
His thoughts became uglier with the smell of the dead and gunpowder and he resides in the gloomier memories of his friends who were accompanying him in the war but remained there dead forever.
He remains in a complete chaos and it is until he is given a lifelong opportunity for which he has dreamt since childhood. His life finally seems to get better which was falling apart once until forbidden love, heartache and a pursuit of revenge turns his whole world upside down once again.
‘A British War Dance’ is the first novel ever written by Lee Willmore. Lee was born and raised in the Sandwell Area of West Midlands.
He is deeply interested in dance and the wartime era, both of which are depicted in his this story.
Lee currently lives in Kent.
