Elizabeth Haywood has lived a remarkable life in the world of business. Not just that, her very first book demonstrates how she is connected to her roots and has a desire to tell the story of her ancestors. She lives in South Wales with her husband and appears now and then on TV and radio.
Elizabeth’s historical fiction title, Lucy: Ultimate Survivor, sheds light on more than one aspect of early 19th-century life on the English-Welsh border. The central character, Lucy, is a symbol of fighting the abuse levied in the name of marriage. Not just that, the book also highlights the curse of slavery as practised in those times. It’s an interesting read and reminisces the classical English writings and novels.
