C. N. Naylor got featured in an article published by Lancashire Telegraph Newspaper on 20th September 2019. C. N. Naylor who is a Year Three teacher attended a five-day event held at Blackburn’s Audley Juniors to encourage and celebrate her publication. The assistant head of the school, Kelly Goddard said that ‘meet the author’ week is held to inspire students. Each class received a signed copy of the book Memoirs of Faeries and read it together.
Memoirs of Faeries is a young adult fantasy that is magical and intriguing at the same time. The protagonist of the story, Katie is an eight-year-old girl who thrives to find the truth behind a secret that gets buried and lost with the death of her grandma. She refers back to the diary given to her by her grandpa which helps her in bringing together the truth. The only heir to an almost-forgotten magical kingdom, soon realizes that she has to reconnect to her ancestors in order to reveal the secret before it’s too late. Would Katie be able to find the secret? Find this and much more in this brilliant read.
Author C. N. Naylor got her writing inspiration from a childhood story. She received her degree from Staffordshire University with a PGCE in Primary Education. She got married in 2013 and now lives in Lancashire with her husband and son.
