A local authors newspaper ‘The Leader’ also available online, featured the book ‘Bonfire Night’ and its author giving a brief description of the book and the inspirations which led to writing it. The article has featured an interview of the author about his life and his ideas. The author also stated that the book is a cleansing read about mental health issues.

Although it was unexpected death of a friend that pushed the author to pen down this fictional account woven around suicide, it's not all gloomy but there is also humour and hope. This book mainly concerns with mental health issues faced by men.

To his credit, Julian Robert Breeds has a novella, a book of short stories and skits for a street theatre group that he led on tours of Outback Australia. Julian Breeds was born in Rye, Sussex in 1953. In 1981, he moved to Sydney with his wife, where they raised three children. His pursuit of fun, mischief and adventures surfaces in his stories, as well as his natural tendency towards tragic embellishments.
