John Norton, the author of ‘The Turkeys Who Had a Happy Christmas’ was invited for a Radio Interview
BBC Radio Norfolk invited John Norton to discuss his book ‘The Turkeys Who Had a Happy Christmas’. The author is featured for 40 minutes into the clip. The author had a nice chat about Christmas, turkeys and his book.
An entertaining tale of a group of turkeys trying to escape the fate of becoming delicious Christmas dinners. Lead by a very clever turkey named Bertie, his friends Tulula and Charlie and the rest of the flock, manage to escape when the lorry carrying them to market overturns. But will their clever plan to escape be successful?
John Norton resides in Norfolk which is his hometown. He is a retired town planner. He was inspired to write his first published book by a real-life accident he witnessed in Norwich when a lorry carrying turkeys to Christmas market overturned.
