John Aduma’s book, Be a Beacon of Hope in the World, received an excellent review from a retired police officer, Chris Hobbs. He is a regular contributor to the Vigilance magazine and declared that the book should be made mandatory reading for every headteacher in the country. He went on to say, "I think your book is excellent. In an ideal world, that book should be given to every head-teacher in the country. If I were a head I'd pick three messages every week and display them prominently, say in the entrance and /or assembly hall so every pupil could see them."

Be a Beacon of Hope in the World is a young adult book with an important message for Britain’s youth. With so many violent and horrific street crimes afflicting children across the country, Aduma wanted to send a message to today’s youth. He wanted them to know that their life is not worthless and that a path of advancement and discipline is the way forward. The book is a loud wake-up call for all the youth of Britain to start taking charge of their lives and realize that violence is not the answer.

John Aduma’s educational background includes Nigeria and the United Kingdom. He is a British Chevening Scholar and has received various degrees and prestigious awards in both countries. He is the author of another praiseworthy book titled The Diamonds are Here and the publisher of the magazine Vigilance, an internationally renowned publication on the world’s security.
