Austin Macauley has recently published the second novel by James Harrison under the title The Barista, which is about a couple who owns a coffee shop. A café seemed the most appropriate place to promote the book considering its context. So, James decided to visit a local café and introduce his books to those present.

The Barista is a thrilling story about a couple who sees Jody as an excellent opportunity but ultimately she pushes them to the backseat and take complete control of their business. Situations further complicate when Steve’s past catches up and life is not the way the couple planned it to be.

James Harrison lives in Hertfordshire, and his hobbies are English literature, writing, reading, Arsenal football club and history. He has almost twenty years’ experience as an adult educator, trainer and coach. The Barista is his second book and was influenced by him studying the history, business and policies of coffee-making from around the world.
