Icknield Primary School Invited the Magnificent Author Yasmin Nahar
The Icknield Primary School organised a coffee morning for students' parents where the phenomenal author Yasmin Nahar spoke about her life endeavours and how her life sufferings have made her become an author. Her book Adventures of Zara and Jannat: Bangladesh was highly appreciated by the audience. Yasmin thanked the management of the school for allowing her to speak her heart out to the parents. She was questioned about managing her life as a single parent and fighting the battle with her life-long neurological disorder. A lady from All Women’s Centre also attended the event, giving guidelines to the families facing some difficulties on how to seek help. A platter of fruits and cakes was also delivered at the end of the event.

The author Yasmin Nahar is a strong lady who is raising her two daughters as a single parent. She is diagnosed with a neurological disorder but never perceived it as a hurdle. She aims to encourage young people of society with her writings. She is living in Luton, Bedfordshire.
