Star in the Shadows is a fiction read with the lead character, Kiara Anderson, who is a pop superstar. Despite the fame and fortune, Kiara spends the nights drinking due to her harsh childhood and teenage memories. Her neighbours, especially Shane, who considers himself responsible for her disappearance, is eager to find out the reason why Kiara ran away. Kiara goes to a reveal-all television interview.
