Hartlepool Mail published a review of the fantasy book ‘Yes Son’ written by Garry Baker on 18^th May 2021. The author shared his struggle with mental health issues and also spoke about his book. Gary said, “It took a year to write due to my long term mental health problems including depression. I am open about this as I hope it will rid the stigma of it”. Yes Son is the story of a girl named Madeleine whose world turns upside down when her fiancé Jake leaves her when she gets pregnant. Due to this experience, she has a hunger for a luxurious life and makes a plan to rob a bank. After a long series of events, she takes refuge in a church with her brother. Garry baker resides in Hartlepool, Co Durham. He earlier worked as a wage/administration clerk and volunteered for film making and scriptwriting. He also at times wrote without commissions and actually thought that people considered him Walter Mitty.
