The author J James was nominated for his book Happy Never After in International Book Awards 2019 in the LGBT Category on 12th June 2019. The author shared his excitement to be one of the finalists for the award. He paid his gratitude to his fans and critique for picking up his book for the nominations. He further added that he didn’t win the award but getting a nomination with acclaimed authors is an achievement itself.

The book Happy Never After is about Robbie who is tenuous, unemployed and dependent upon his partner Max. One day he learns that Max is cheating on him. Distressed and heart-broken Robbie lashes out at Max on his arrival at home and leaves the place. The amazing transformation of Robbie from an unstable person to a valiant man will keep you hooked on the book till the last page.

The author J James hails from Southeast Asia. He has worked in teaching and educational leadership for 20 years. He loves and enjoys writing.
