T. K. Fairclough was thrilled to announce that his book 'The Golden Idol' has been showcased in four famous libraries of his city Leicester.

A very binding tale of two apparently regular men in their fifties named Rick Shannon and Hugo Twiss. The two friends who like every one of their age enjoy classic TV shows and films and share a love for coffee and cakes. They met and befriended at a 'Mysterious Britain' convention several years ago and had been weekly meeting at cafes thereafter. One day at such a meetup, Hugo turns up with a solid gold statue, stolen more than three decades ago and showed intentions of delivering it to ‘Fatman’ for a hefty fee. Although reluctant and unsure of his friend’s plans, Rick decides to join in. From there begun an adventures trip they never had dreamt of.

Although T. K. Fairclough currently lives in Leicester but he was born in Huyton, near Liverpool in 1957. He worked as a safari park attendant and a door-to-door soft drinks salesman. Later, he served in the Royal Air Force for 22 years and then afterwards as a security officer. He has three adult children and two grand-daughters.
