A Book of Rather Strange Animals is an enchanting little book, appropriate for all ages, written by the creator of an enormously popular Twitter account @StrangeAnimals, this book depicts an interesting collection of strange creatures from all over the world. Caleb Compton has done a brilliant job by assembling features of one hundred amazing animals. The book is a really interesting and informative read. This book contains engaging descriptions about some of the strangest creatures of the World like the goblin shark, the hooded seal and the barreleye fish. Wacky defence mechanism strategies and weird mating rituals really tickle the reader’s imagination.

After the remarkable success of his Twitter account @StrangeAnimals, a graduate of biosciences Caleb Compton was motivated to write a book featuring his beloved strange animals. Caleb Compton is passionate about animals, which is evident from the success of his book. His love for animals developed while watching documentaries on nature with his family. He started his Twitter account with just a few followers and now has grown into one of the most popular animal accounts.
