The Duchess of Cornwall thanked Barbara Herszenhorn for ‘Troublesome Tom’
The Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla Rosemary thanked the author, Barbara Herszenhorn for sending her a copy of ‘Troublesome Tom’. The Duchess appreciated this gesture from the author and urged the desire that she will read this book to her grandchildren.
This book is about a newborn baby, Tom who was a crying baby. Right from the start, he was all the time a ‘WHAA WHAA’ baby. He was a very irritating child who used to disturb all the people in the house. Surprisingly only his granddad knew the trait of making him stop and he would draw this seemingly magical buzzword that would quite the baby.
He would draw this imaginary happy face upon this face of the constantly crying baby. Tom was a much awaited and much-loved addition to the family. He was a constant trouble for his parents but his grandparents knew all the tricks of dealing with this kid.
This is a very cute story to which every family can relate. This is a suitable book for the kids from 2-7 as it also gives them the opportunity to talk about the time when they were newborns.
The author, Barbara Herszenhorn lives in the city of Lichfield Staffordshire. She has spent many years working in the education department. She now spends most of her time in writing books about Troublesome Tom.
