On the 2^nd November, Dimitra Merkouris was interviewed on Chat and Spin Radio to promote her children’s book, Darla Dilly Don’t Be Silly. Chat and Spin Radio is an internet radio station with a huge variety of topics discussed on their show. This was the perfect opportunity for Dimitra to talk about the inspiration behind her book and promote it.

Darla Dilly Don’t Be Silly is a must-read children’s book, following the story of a girl who desperately wants a pet. Darla doesn’t just want any pet, she fantasizes about mermaids, dragons and even a unicorn. Eventually, the perfect pet finds her!

Dimitra Merkouris lives in Canada, she worked as an Anesthesia Technician in the operating room at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal before devoting herself to writing. Now she keeps herself busy by writing down all the silly ideas that come naturally to her throughout the day with her husband, three children, and their small brown dog.
