Forest School at Bushwell Gardens in Nottingham is a unique facility given its unique setting and location. The school is actually situated among forest land and trees. Our author, Denis Popat, had a chance to visit this extraordinary school. She treated the kids with some reading from her very own book, Magnificent Marvellous Minibeasts.

Magnificent Marvellous Minibeasts is a series of short stories which allows children to pay heed to the miniaturist and tiniest creatures around us. The intention is to make children more mindful and appreciative of their surroundings. No doubt, the author does the job just as marvellously.

Denise Popat lives in Stockport, Cheshire. She has retired after working as an infant and special needs teacher. Her profession inspired her to write stories that can be used in the classrooms. Magnificent Marvellous Minibeasts is one such story.
