County times publishes an article on Julia R Francis’s debut venture
An online article on County Times covers a children’s tale by Llandinam-based Julia R Francis. The children’s book, ‘Henry and the Dinosaurs’, has hit the shelves right on time for Christmas and the author is quite hopeful for its success.
Written especially for the young audience like Henry, who gets an amazing treat of Dinosaur Birthday Party. Afterwards, he and his new friends embark on a fossil-digging adventure. Can they find fossils hidden in the sandpit? At bedtime, what will he tell her mother about the best part of the day? Quests like these make it a worthwhile read.
According to Julia, the title may hint as a fantasy tale but the book offers some realistic things to the pre-school and stage one children, which are surely to be savoured by the young ones.
Adding more she says: “The situations Henry finds himself in are designed to encourage interaction and discussion; to identify with a positive attitude.” Julia has already written three more books to be published in the future that incorporate the ‘I can do this approach’. She says that the idea of imagination and interaction is the main thing that she wants to see in the children.
