Both the books have a very powerful message to give. They are about a boy named TJ who cannot walk and talk. In spite of his limitations, he loves to be around his friends and plays with them through listening. In one of the books, he also travels to London. These books leave a very strong impact on the reader by conveying that disabilities can never be a hinderance to lead a fulfilling and joyful life. The author of the books, Amanda Kehoe, used to work as a Marketing Professional & Montessori teacher. She gave up her career to take care of her son, Tadhg, who was diagnosed with Cerebal Palsy and Global Development Delay around 12 years back. She wrote these books to generate awareness about children with these disabilities. Amanda presently resides in Newbridge, Co Kildare, with her husband and three kids.
