‘Cheadle and Tean Times’ featured an article about Steven Bosworth’s ‘The Betrayal’
‘Cheadle and Tean Times’ recently published an article with the headline “debut thriller for engineer-author”. Steven Bosworth recently completed his debut novel, titled as, ‘The Betrayal’. This was a much-awaited novel as he started it years ago.
The protagonist of the story, Dean Nash, feels that there is a void in his life which needs to be filled. He goes to a nightclub and meets its owner, Nick Burns. Nash was involved in a robbery that was masterminded by Burns.
They come quickly under the government’s scrutiny which is headed by Jon Wagstaff. Nash is scared of Wagstaff but very soon he enters into a journey of self-awareness.
Nash’s best friend, Shan Neal is unaware of Nash’s involvement in the robbery. He goes after his friend in rage but faces the unexpected. The final standoff sees a clash between, Wagstaff, Burns, Neal and Nash which is followed by an unfortunate death but which one of them survived? it is still to be known.
The author, Steven Bosworth is a qualified engineer who worked for many international firms over the past several years. He wanted to share some of his experiences and emotions he encountered throughout his life.
He got the idea of writing such a book 20 years ago but he started writing it until 2010 and eventually completed it.
