The article states the story of the author, who started writing at the age of 50 after splitting up with his wife. Austin Macauley’s brilliant author, Cavin Collins, was born in North Wales. He is a father of five children and grandfather of four. During the nineties, he started writing but didn’t publicize it. In 2018, Cavin asked his friend to read his poetry aloud in a small group of people. The positive response encouraged him to reveal his poetry and gained the confidence to produce his first book.
