Austin Macauley’s amazing author Rebecca Watson’s book ‘Call Me Frank gets featured by The SE Voice. The feature titled ‘Teacher Branches Out in Writing’ talked about the children’s book which is a story of resilience, friendship and creativity. This is the author’s first picture book for which the author gathered inspiration from her life as a teacher. 

 

Call Me Frank is the story of a young and lonely boy named Frank. He is so shy that he finds it difficult to make friends. One night, before he goes to sleep, he makes a wish to have a new friend. That night, he dreams about his imaginary friend named Charles Charlie, who offers him comfort and friendship.

 

Rebecca Watson was born and raised in South Australia. With a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of South Australia, she has also worked as a teacher for some time. She loves to travel to new places and learn about new cultures and languages. She is living with her husband and daughter in Adelaide.
