The Crate Escape is an autobiography of Brian Robson, which narrates the story of a risky venture he undertook in the year 1964 when he was working in Australia. Brian Robson was 19 years old when he went to Australia but soon realized he cannot live there. He couldn’t go back because he had signed a contract with the company he was working for. Unable to buy tickets due to insufficient money, Brian Robson came up with the idea of getting nailed in a wooden crate and shipped to the UK. His friends sealed him inside a crate box. As planned, they sent him on a 36-hours flight from Melbourne to London, but soon he realized he had set himself up for trouble.
Brian Robson was born in the year 1945 in the United Kingdom and spent most of his adult life travelling. He has lived in many countries in Europe and South-East Asia.
