Guy Clapshaw’s book ‘Tasman Echo Alpha’ has been reviewed by the British Airline Pilots Association Magazine, The Log. They have stated that the book is a chart of Clapshaw’s progress.

A book filled with emotional stories, funny and sober ones. All of which are actual events from the life of Guy Clapshaw. This book is an anecdote, which takes the reader through the journey of his career as a pilot. It is an insight into the lives of the airplane crew. There are many characters who have the backs of their crew members in all kinds of stressful and emergency situations. It shows us the time when airline flights were seen as a privilege for the rich and deserving.

Guy Clapshaws career launched when he won an R.A.F flying scholarship at the age of seventeen. His training and education were of two-year R.A.F pilots course. This is where his observation of all kinds of unique and technical aviation encounters took place. He has flown almost all sorts of planes and jets from World War Two jets to Jumbo Jet 747. He says that he intends to keep flying and keep doing it until he gets it right.
