Jill Saynor, the author of the children`s favourite Billy Bread, conducted a book reading event at a community centre in her locality. The children thoroughly enjoyed the event and were left mesmerised by the adventures of Billy the Bread and her fellow Kitchen Gang.

Jill Saynor is currently working as a teaching assistant in a year one class supporting an individual child. She has a two years NNEB course that she pursued after her schooling. She is a mother, and this book is a result of her hobby of writing that took shape as she wrote such stories for her children.
