The book ‘Job Opportunities’ by Kenneth Louis Shepherd got Featured in a Local Newspaper
The Maldon and Burnham Standard Newspaper shared the account of Kenneth becoming an author of two books. Feature said that the author as former shoe shop manager published his book with Austin Macauley and is now releasing his second book titled ‘Job Opportunity’.
Following his first art book which was about the rural landscape, this art book shows people from different walks of life, all carrying out professional work in their workplace environment. Kenneth explains that his generation was all about going out, working, making your living and delivering your share towards society. He has to explore such spirit through different time periods and a variety of professions. He has chapters on farmers, fisherman, prostitutes and all sort of professions.
Like most people of his era, Kenneth dropped out of school at the age of 14 and went to into full-time employment. When he finally retired from his work in retail, as a shoe shop manager, he decided to go back to completing his educational record. In 2008 he received his BA in humanities.
