Terence Roberts lives in the village of O’Brien’s Bridge, County Clare, but was born in Ruthin. He had qualified as a probation officer at the University of Huddersfield and provided his services in Merseyside, West Yorkshire, and the Republic of Ireland for over 25 years. He had also joined Probation Service as a volunteer in West Yorkshire. The author shifted to Ireland after the age of 50.
