Barbara Thiele, the author of Venomous Faith attended her book’s launch event which took place in La Luz, Albuquerque New Mexico on 26^th April. The event was attended by the friends and neighbours of the author who were there to support her on the launch of her first novel which was previously written and illustrated as a children’s story. The attendees were also overwhelmed by the forecasted sales of the book on the Amazon website.

The story of Venomous Faith revolves around two friends Clair and Francis, who were separated at a young age and went through the abusive foster care. Later on, Francis meets a couple Pastor Leroy and his wife, Fat Cow. Leroy leads a church where the worshipers test their faith by handling deadly serpents. Francis learns the trade of snake handling and when her life is threatened, strikes back by the venom. In contrast, Claire is living a normal life, she is a psychologist and counsels in State Penitentiary. But later, her life also falls in danger and in the thrilling climax, both the adult women join the force of revenge.

Barbara Thiele is currently residing in the Land of Enchantment, New Mexico. Initially, she has worked with the women and children who were victims of sexual abuse. Before her retirement, she led a ministry for mentally handicapped young adults. She has also worked as a counsellor for the male prisoners. Venomous Faith is her debut novel.
