Author Suzanne Saunders Interviewed On BBC Radio Cumbria
Author of an amazing cookbook 'Conscious Cookery; Seasonal Recipes and Inspirations from Sunny Brow Farm Holistic Retreat', Suzanne Saunders interviewed on BBC Radio Cumbria. The first 2 hours of the interview covered the aspects of the Holistic Centre at Sunny Brow Farm and the benefits of Yoga. The last hour discussed the merits of the book which was described as much more than a cookery book because of all the information and links to seasons, health & well being. Suzanne took some samples into the studio from recipes in the book. The snacks were eaten during the programme & discussed at length. The interviewer hosts similar programmes once a week. She was delighted with how this session went.
Conscious Cookery is a cooking guide to help design a healthy lifestyle. It is a wonderful holistic fusion of nutritional awareness, wild foods, home-grown harvests, organic unprocessed gluten-free foods, macrobiotics, the philosophy of the five elements and a love of connecting fully to each and every season. The diverse plant-based recipes are great for vegans and vegetarians to ensure a tasty and nutritious diet.
Suzanne is a mother to three spirited young children and the owner and manager of Sunny Brow Holistic Retreat. She is passionate about healthy eating and holistic living, researching and reading avidly in this area. She aspires to understand what is best for the body and how to apply this. Suzanne is also a yoga teacher, trained since 2003, a Reiki Master, healing massage and crystals practitioner, a shamanic practitioner, and is also currently training in the All Nations sweat lodge.
