Austin Macauley’s very talented author, R H Young, gets featured for his debut novel, Dhanmondi Road, in Hastings Independent on 30^th January 2020. Besides praising the author, the feature also highlights the book signing event of the author scheduled on 22^nd February 2020.

Dhanmondi Road plots the chaotic era of 1973 right after Bangladesh’s war of independence. The Australian character, Gareth McKinley comes to Bangladesh with humanitarian intent to work for destitute children. However, he realized it in no time that post-war environment could be unsafe. The book is a journey of Gareth towards self-awareness in uncanny ways.

The author, R H Young is an Australian philanthropist and a lecturer, currently residing in East Sussex. Young incorporated experiences during his stay in Bangladesh back in the 1970s.
