The Author of Percival and the Hall of Mirrors, Larrissa Lockwood, attended a Book Signing Event at the Hollywood Arms Pub
On the 17th of October, 2019, the author of a beautifully written children’s book Percival and the Hall of Mirrors, Larrissa Lockwood, signed the copies of her book at The Hollywood Arms Pub, Hollywood Road, Chelsea, London. The event was successful as the author signed a lot of copies for the audience. It was a small event held in a private room of the Pub. It had amazing décor which depicted modernity and had an effective ambience. 70 to 80 people have attended the event. There was a good number of adults as well as children which contributed to making the event successful. The audience had a great time and the author was happy and excited as she sold a lot of books specifically the hardbacks.
The book is about a Papillon dog named Percival who fights for the great king Louis XIV in France in the seventeenth century. He is accompanied by some of his animal friends like a mouse and a tortoise and also some human friends. Percival has to make sure the king and the kingdom are safe. The book educates the audience and is fun to read. This book has given life to the seventeenth century France through animated illustrations.
The author is a published poet who loves history, literature and animals. In 2014, she collaborated with a well-known artist and sculptor, Yves Tremois, who made the drawings in her book called 'Feelings'. The author is currently working on a novel.
