Author Nanny Sue Celebrated an Epic Book Signing Event for ‘Jack the Pirate With a Secret’ at Heath House Farm
Author Nanny Sue attended a book signing event for her children’s book, Jack, the Pirate with a Secret. The event took place at the Heath House Farm on Saturday, 22nd May 2021. Nanny Sue signed books for the readers and also met some young admirers. The author showed her gratitude by saying, "It was a very enjoyable day. The Restaurant/Tea Room and Garden Centre were very busy. I attended the day before with my Mum, we had lunch and then just before it closed, we set up the table etc. in preparation for the exciting day. Mum was absolutely thrilled to see my books on display at a 'real venue'; especially as Heath House Farm is a local family run business. In the book 'Jack, The Pirate with a Secret' there is a page with a dedication to my Mum and family and also my 'Late Dad' who was a natural storyteller and a true inspiration to us all. There is also a dedication to my four Grand Children too. The day itself was busy and any children who attended received a gift bag with a few goodies inside! One young man wore his Pirate Eye patch as a disguise! I signed a few books and shared further information with people who attended who asked about my book. I would like to say a huge Thank You to Sue Doherty, the proprietor who has given me the opportunity to showcase 'Jack, The Pirate with a Secret and is stocking my books in the delightful Gift Shop at Heath House Farm. I would also like to thank Leighanne and Lesley who made me feel very welcome and also created the display within the Gift Shop."
