Author of The Mysterious Boy, Julie Robinson visited Milford-on-Sea Primary School in Hampshire
Milford-on-Sea Primary School invited the author, Julie Robinson to talk to the students about her book, The Mysterious Boy. Julie had a lovely and great mannerism with the children and they were thrilled to hear her talk about the inspiration behind The Mysterious Boy and the process of getting a book published. The students loved her book and asked a lot of question about it. The author was happy to answer their interesting questions and the whole afternoon was a real treat.
The Mysterious Boy is an adventurous story of twins Sarah and Mark who are on their holiday in Cornwall. They believe that it is going to be just another holiday until they run into a few unexpected things. They find a mysterious boy Edwin Lavin, who intrigues them. The boy is a little hesitant at first but soon becomes good friends with the kids. Together they have an adventurous and exciting holiday during which they discover a wild garden, a swimming pool and the stables.
The author Julie Robinson is a former N.H.S. worker who currently lives in Cornwall with her husband and their dog, Rosie. She has one daughter and four grandchildren. Her passions in life are writing, reading and painting.
