Author Maureen Tyler Receives a Letter of Thanks from Kensington Palace, London on Her Book
Author of children’s book, Animal Alphabet, Maureen Tyler received a letter of thanks on behalf of The Duchess of Cambridge. In the letter addressed to Maureen, Her Royal Highness thanked her for children’s gift. Furthermore, the Duchess sent her regards and warmest thanks to the author for going through the trouble of sending her book to The Duchess.
Children’s Book Animal Alphabet is a colourful and engaging collection of poems that teaches them the English alphabet in the most amusing and appealing manner. The book uses interesting animal characters with stories to introduce alphabets into the children’s mind. The poems also instil knowledge about animals and their habitats. Animal characters like ‘Amy the Armadillo’, ‘Colin the Cat’, ‘Dido the Dog’ and ‘Zumba the Zonkey’ stimulate children’s imagination with their narratives.
Maureen lives with her husband on Fylde Coast in a small village which is surrounded by many fields and variety of wildlife. At the Lancashire University, she was a voice coach for the BBC Journalism Course for a decade. Maureen is also a qualified drama teacher and a member of two amateur drama groups. She has been teaching drama for over 36 years. Maureen is a golfer and enjoys almost any genre of books.
