Author of Grandma's Water Tower Tales, Rita Burgess Interviewed by Anglian Water
Anglian Water is a well-known water company that operates in the East of England. They recently published the interview of author Rita Burgess who featured one of the Anglian Water’s tower as a character named Watty in her latest book Grandma’s Water Tower Tales. Grandma's Water Tower Tales is a lovely children’s book full of colourful illustrations. The story is based on a Water Tower known as Watty who lived by the sea. Watty was a strong and tall tower made of white concrete. Sometimes he felt lonely as he did not have any friends. He liked adventures which were mostly meant to help somebody. Soon he finds out that by helping others, he can make friends for himself.
The author Rita Burgess has been living in Norfolk seaside village for 10 years with her husband Bill and a little black cat called Samma. She’s a retired woman who’s currently working as a part-time Lay Minister in the Church of England. Rita loves gardening, watching the sea and writing poetry.
