Author Geoff Swift Gets Invited to the Lenzie Meadow Primary School
Author Geoff Swift was invited to Lenzie Meadow Primary School to read from his book and answer children’s questions. He read from his book The Friendly Giant Called Zak and His Friend Rory the Misnamed Monster and engaged 150 pupils from the P3 and P4 class. The children really enjoyed his company and asked many questions to Geoff. The school’s administration also uploaded photographs of the event on their twitter account. Lenzie Meadow Primary is a delightful school in Lenzie, Scotland.
The Friendly Giant Called Zak and His Friend Rory the Misnamed Monster is a delightful children’s book about friendship. The story is about Zak (a giant) who befriends Rory (a monster). Zak and Rory set out to travel the world visiting every ocean and sea. They encounter many creatures on their journeys and befriend them as well. The book promotes feelings of friendly love and open-mindedness towards making new friends without discrimination.
Swift Geoff is a new author and has just ventured into writing for young children. He has recently retired from working as a Business Development Director in the services industry. Geoff really relished writing his first book and wants to write more.
