Author of ‘Working at the End of the World: An Antarctic Diary’ Con Curtis was at WH Smith in Ripon to attend the book signing event of his book ‘Working at the End of the World: An Antarctic Diary’. The event went well and the author sold all 20 copies of his book. This honest, terrifying, as well as the humorous account of travelling and working in the harshness and beauty of the great white continent, will allow the reader to visualize and feel the magnificence of Antarctica. After coming back from Antarctica, he worked with Family Services for many years, specialising in the rehabilitation of juvenile delinquents and supporting families in crisis. He has a first-class honours degree in Youth Justice. He lives in Yorkshire with his fiancée Sarah and loves to go to the mountains whenever he can.
