Carmen Powell is a children’s author and professional educator. She created fruitful connections with stakeholders, collaborating across all professional levels and with parents, as a professional educator with a deep conviction in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) concept and methodology. Her connection with the parents has been described as "exemplary" by Ofsted, which is a point of immense pride for her.

'Matthew and the Magic Goat,' 'Sprite and the Two Talking Turtles,' and 'Sprite's Christmas Flight' are three of her children's books. The books emphasize inclusiveness in order to aid children's personal, social, and emotional growth, as well as their communication and language abilities.
