Author Alexandra Aitken had an Interview with Graham at Happy Haggis Productions
Alexandra Aitken, the Author of Adventures in the Land of Oz was invited for a radio interview with Happy Haggis host, Graham. The interview went great as they chatted about different topics including Alexandra’s experience as a nurse, her travelling across the two countries (Scotland and Australia) and her intentions for writing the book. She also shared about the process of writing and getting published with Austin Macauley.
Adventures in the Land of Oz is an interesting memoir by Alexandra, a young freshly graduated nurse from Scotland, who sets on a six month of the adventure of working on the other side of the world in Australia. Scared as she was initially, she grew to love the sunny climate, picturesque beaches, scenery and warm people.
Alexandra Aitken and her husband are currently living in Scotland where they have spent the majority of their life. However, after becoming a qualified nurse she got the opportunity to work both in her home country and overseas. This fuelled her passion for travelling and now she frequently goes around the world exploring different lands. Alexandra also wrote some articles that were published in nursing journals. To her credit, she also has a nursing textbook.
