Austin Macauley’s Publication, Lola’s Story, Featured in Midlothian Advertiser
On 13th January 2020, Midlothian Advertiser, an online newspaper, published an article featuring Lola’s Story by Edward Nowak. The article mentioned that Lola’s Story is a debut novel of award-winning artist and author Edward Nowak. While talking to the newspaper, Edward said, “The target age group for the book is nine to 11 but older children and adults alike may find the novel entertaining. Lola’s Story is a charming children’s book about abandoned pets, told through the eyes of Lola. In Part 1, Lily and her young kitten were abandoned by their cruel owner. The author Edward Nowak grew up in the Scottish mining community. He is an award-winning artist and author. He got his BA (Hons) degree on scholarship from Heriot-Watt University and the College of Art in Edinburgh. He is an acclaimed artist whose work is displayed at the Royal Academy in London and the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh.
