Austin Macauley teams up with Bettersea Dogs & Cats Home, an animal rescue centre
Cats and dogs have always been the favourite choice for people regarding pets. The playful behaviour, innocence, the occasional purr, wagging tails and loyalty makes them irresistible.
It hurts to see these pure souls not been taken proper care of and for this reason ‘Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’ has taken an initiative to rescue and rehome, stray and homeless cats and dogs. In operation since 1860, it is one of the UK's oldest and most famous animal rescue centres. The organization is known to take care for over 7000 dogs and cats, every year.
Feeling the pain of these animals, Austin Macauley Publishers has join hands with Battersea in this noble cause and donated a handsome amount for the rescuing, rehoming and rehabilitation of these animals.
Not only this, the leading publisher also donated a selection of books to ‘Collars & Coats Gala Ball’, an event to raise money for the animal home.
In the letter of appreciation sent to the Austin Macauley, the Special Events Coordinator of Battersea, Samantha Danckwerts, not only thanked the publishing house for their generosity but also expressed her pleasure on gathering a hefty amount for the rehoming, rescuing and rehabilitation of the strayed, abandoned and neglected animals.
