We recently donated over 300 books to Book Aid International; the UK based registered charity solely supports the love of books across the world, by providing different countries with one million new books every year. Annually, Book Aid International make large shipments of new and utilised books to areas across the globe deprived of literature. It has been providing and supporting thousands of libraries, schools, colleges, hospitals, refugee camps and universities with books. Austin Macauley Publishers have always supported such a worthy cause that enhances and develops literacy initiatives. It is reported that in 2018, around 25 million people read the books provided by the Trust, Book Aid International. A network of volunteers based in the UK collect the books, in which they are sent to the destined localities. The money raised is used to improve and uplift the local literature. The books which are not required or demanded by the overseas libraries are sold to Book Aid Shops in the UK. Many Publishers support Book Aid International by distributing books annually.
