Austin Macauley Donates books to Kingsmoor Lower School
Austin Macauley donated books to Kingsmoor Lower School, as part of the school’s ‘Readathon’. 69 children participated in the activity, the purpose of which was to promote the activity of reading and to raise money for the school library.
The money raised, £1865.50, will be used to buy books for the library and enhance it in other ways as well.
Some of the children who participated in the ‘Readathon’ were also chosen as winners of a lucky prize draw. They received books as prizes.
The school is celebrating many different things in the month of March. They have fun events planned for children in the days to come.
Austin Macauley is proud to play a part in the activities and ensure that good books end up in the hands of kids that enjoy reading.
