Angela Scholes, a new and upcoming writer and the author of Just an Ordinary Day, was recently featured in the Warrington Guardian, her local news website on 2^nd of January this year. The short article praised her ability to manage her work life and writing two consecutive books in the last year. The article also pointed out to the fact that she is not even computer savvy and wrote her entire manuscripts on a notepad by hand. The 54-year-old author finally found the time to write when she was bored of reading and with her children all grown up and out of home, this was her way to cope up with it all.

The book is based on a short lovely story about pet owners and their love for their pets, specifically dogs. It follows a day in the life of a character named Sarah who had gotten a cockapoo from her local dog shelter after a sad breakup with her boyfriend. The dog that she brought with her was so lively that she makes her chase her all over the park, the whole day long. For what started off as just an ordinary day, would this make her day better or worse?

In her 50s now, Angels Scholes is a married mother of two grownups and found some time on her hands to write from her vivid imagination. A hairdresser by day who loved a read at night suddenly found a desire to write instead. This is her second book with Austin Macauley Publishers.
