Dalmellington Early Childhood Centre invited the author Andy Cooke for a school visit. During his visit, the school administration arranged a reading session where he read from his book Ruby Raccoon: Collection of Short Stories for the preschoolers who enjoyed the book content.

Ruby Raccoon: Collection of Short Stories is a brightly coloured children’s book with short stories written in a poetic fashion to grab the attention of the little ones. A collection of short stories about three young racoons, ruby and her brothers Reggie and Raymond who set on an adventure.

Andy Cooke is currently living in Scotland with his loving and supportive wife and a beautiful daughter, Ruby. Andy credits his daughter Ruby for inspiring his stories although Andy always had a creative streak. As a teenager, he wrote poetry and became a drummer in his own rock band. He enjoys snowboarding other than music and writing.
