Amanda Kehoe visited The Christ Lutheran School, Costa Mesa, California. On her visit to the school, she shared her thoughts on her book ’TJ and his wheelable chair’. She was keen on explaining how to enjoy life to the fullest under any circumstances.
This book conveys a beautiful message to everyone that we need to enjoy everything in life, no matter what kind of circumstances one might be in. The story revolves around a wheelchair-bound boy named TJ. Although he might not be able to talk or walk around, he still loves doing all fun activities with his friends. TJ proves to everyone that disabilities are no barrier to a joyous and satisfying life.
Amanda is born and raised in Ballinteer, a suburb of Dublin. She has attended the Dublin Business school, where she has studied Marketing, Advertisement, and Public Relations. Amanda had to give up working, to take care of her 10 months old son diagnosed with cerebral palsy and developmental delay. Now Amanda is currently living with her husband and three beautiful children. She says the topic is very close to her heart.
